Your reading list, out loud.
Send Hearport an article, a newsletter, a PDF or a YouTube link. It comes back as audio — read in a voice matched to the writing, waiting in whatever podcast app you already use.
Cover art, generated per article.
How it works
01
Send it
A link, a forwarded newsletter, a PDF, a YouTube URL, or text you paste in. Long pieces are split into parts so you are not handed a ninety-minute file.
02
A voice gets matched
Hearport reads the piece before it speaks it. Reporting gets a newsreader; an essay gets something warmer. If you disagree, pick another voice and it regenerates.
03
Listen anywhere
In the browser, or through your own podcast feed. Each piece also gets a short summary, so you can decide what deserves the full read.
What it reads
- Articles and blog posts
- Paste the URL. Paywalls and cookie walls aside, if you can read it, it can read it.
- Newsletters
- Forward the email. The one in your inbox you keep meaning to get to.
- PDFs
- Reports, papers, manuals. Attach it to an email and send it in.
- YouTube
- The talk you would rather hear than watch.
- Text you paste in
- Anything already in your clipboard.
- Nothing in particular
- Describe what you want to hear and Hearport writes it first, then reads it.
Three ways in
Paste a link
Open Hearport, drop in a URL, done.
Text it
Send a link by SMS to your Hearport number. Useful when you find something on your phone and do not want to open anything.
Forward it
Send or forward an email to your Hearport address. The way newsletters and PDFs get in.
It arrives in the podcast app you already use.
Hearport gives you a private podcast feed. Add it once — Overcast, Apple Podcasts, Pocket Casts, whatever you have — and everything you send shows up there, with its cover art, its summary, and long pieces already split into parts.
No new app to check. No new habit to build.
